Sensitive Strength
Helping sensitive systems build sustainable strength from the inside out
Sensitive Strength is a nervous system and fascia informed approach for hyper-mobility, hEDS, chronic pain, highly sensitive systems, folks with auto-immunity, fatigue, and those seeking a gentler, more sustainable path toward strength, stability & resilience.
You may be a good fit for Sensitive Strength if:
• You have hypermobility or suspect you may be hypermobile
• You struggle with chronic pain, tension, or recurring injuries
• Traditional exercise programs leave you feeling worse instead of better
• You often feel overwhelmed, depleted, or stuck in cycles of overdoing and crashing
• You have an autoimmune condition, chronic illness, or highly sensitive nervous system
• You know movement would help, but aren't sure where to begin
• You are looking for support that considers the whole person rather than isolated symptoms

What is 'Sensitive Strength'?
Sensitive Strength was born from years of working with clients who needed something different.
Many people have been taught to push harder, stretch more, exercise more, or simply "try harder" to overcome their symptoms. Yet for highly sensitive systems, hyper-mobility, chronic pain, and nervous system dysregulation, these approaches often create more frustration and exhaustion.
Sensitive Strength takes a different approach.
Rather than forcing the body into change, we begin by building awareness, stability, capacity, and trust. Through movement, nervous system support, education, and individualized guidance, we work with the body rather than against it.
The goal is not perfection or to 'fix' you. The goal is developing a more resilient, trusting relationship with your body and building sustainable strength from the inside out.
What's in a Session?

-
Explore breath, posture, and core function
-
Identify areas of compensation or over-effort
-
Discuss nervous system and lifestyle factors
-
Create a personalized roadmap
In person sessions include hands-on assessment and bodywork as appropriate.
In person - 2 hours - $240
Virtual - 75 min - $150
Follow Up Sessions
Follow up sessions are individualized and each session builds upon the last while also meeting you and your body where you're at in the moment.
Follow ups may include:
-
Movement coaching
-
Nervous system support
-
Somatic practices
-
Bodywork (in-person)
-
Strength and stability progressions
-
Education and self-care tools

After each session, you will receive a short practice video with the movements or tools we covered so you can explore and keep momentum going between sessions

The Sensitive Strength Approach
Many highly sensitive, hypermobile, and chronic pain folks have spent years trying to push through symptoms, strengthen over compensation patterns, or force their bodies into change before building the foundation necessary to support it.
The Sensitive Strength approach follows three core principles:
Support & Organize
We begin by creating awareness, improving body organization around the deep core & breath, and establish a foundation of safety, stability, and connection. We do this through supported movements (using the wall, floor, props etc.) and somatic techniques.
Align
As the body becomes more organized, chronic pain lessens and you feel more stable, we gently and mindfully incorporate more complex movements that explore load bearing and support balance and capacity building.
Strengthen
Once you feel more confident, comfortable and organized around balance and loading your own body weight do we progressively build strength, possibly incorporating tools like resistance bands, free weights & mace work.
Rather than forcing change from the outside in, Sensitive Strength focuses on building sustainable strength from the inside out.
